Is that really you in the picture?Nope! That is a licensed stock photo I picked out when I started this pen name! My stories are way too steamy for the PTA to find out about.

What research do you do when writing hockey romance stories?I’m super lucky that hockey runs in my family, so I have a ton of experts to advise me when I have questions! I also Google a ton to fact check.
-
How many books are you planning on releasing this year and do you have a date of releases/general timeline?I try to stick to six releases a year! Juggling family and keeping a fast release schedule can be a bit of a balancing act, so sometimes I don’t always hit the six releases but that’s always my goal.
-
Are there going to be more books in the Raleigh Raptor series and in the Carolina Reapers series? Both series feel very complete as of right now but I never say never!
-
What made you decide to write a hockey franchise? How do you keep them all straight when writing and incorporating them all into the stories?Hockey runs in my family and I’m absolutely in love with the sport! I have a book series bible (excel to the rescue) for each of my series to help me keep up with hockey positions, teams, trades, etc.
-
What did you want to be when you grew up?I’ve wanted to be an author since I was a little girl! I’m so lucky to get to do what I love for a living! Thank you for all of your support in making my dreams come true!

What gives you inspiration to write your stories?I’ve always been a sucker for romance and I’m lucky enough to have a husband who is legit book boyfriend material! He’s a great source of my inspiration, but I also draw from music, movies, and other little romantic tales I come across.

What’s your favorite coffee order/hot tea/hot chocolate?Coffee. All the coffee. I love it black or I’m a sucker for a white chocolate mocha.
-
When is your favorite time to write? It really varies from when I can find the time, sometimes that happens in the morning, other times it’s late at night! Balancing being a mom and an author means you have to write whenever you’re given a quiet space to do so :)
-
Will you write a baseball (Hurricanes) series?I’ve had a ton of requests for this! Once Maddox speaks up and tells me his story, you all will be the first to find out.
-
How old was/were your child(ren) when you started writing?Newborns! I would write during their nap times or write when they were entertained in the pop-up crib or I’d stay up way late and write in between feedings. It was exhausting work but it’s so worth it!
-
Which story was your favorite to write and why? This is an impossible question! I love all of them for different reasons! GRINDER (Gage’s story) has a special place in my heart because he was my first! Though, CANNON has always held my heart with a tight fist too. Hawke’s story is giving him a run for his money as well. It’s too hard to choose LOL
-
So Hockey to Vampires seems like a big jump, how did you decide you wanted to write those types of stories? Are vampires a topic you really like? Will you write more hockey, maybe a new team? Have you considered writing any other types of books?Adult paranormal romance is my first true love! I’ve always wanted to write in the genre so I thought I’d take a crack at it in between my sports romances and I’m so glad I did! You all have been so enthusiastic about the series and it’s such a fun genre to write! I’m open to all sorts of genres and tropes, it just depends on where the characters take me!

How do you balance your time between writing so quickly, and having your own life with your family?I will not lie to you, it’s incredibly hard! Since I have such a fast release schedule I feel like I’m constantly in the writing cave…which I love! But between that and spending good quality time with the family, there isn’t as much time for other things (like social media) as much as I would like there to be!!
